Discover the world of dance through the visionary guidance of Kalamandalam Neethu Krishnan, the esteemed Founder & Director of Natyagraha. With a passion that fuels her artistry, Neethu Krishnan embodies excellence as a danseuse, a versatile choreographer, and a dedicated Guru.
Her achievements speak volumes – she holds the distinction of a “B” Grade artist at Doordarsan Kalakendra Hyderabad and has secured a prestigious rank in Mohiniyattam, earning her Bachelor’s Degree in the discipline.
Embarking on her Bharatanatyam journey under the expert mentorship of Mrs. Jyothirayi, Neethu Krishnan’s dedication shone through. Eight years of intensive training at Kerala Kalamandalam nurtured her talents, enabling her to carve a unique niche in the realm of Bharatanatyam and Mohiniyattam.
Neethu Krishnan’s academic pursuits have further honed her craft. She successfully achieved a Master’s of Philosophy in Bharatanatyam from the esteemed University of Madras and earned a Master’s degree in Bharatanatyam from Hyderabad Central University.
Complementing her extensive training, she also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mohiniyattam from Kerala Kalamandalam. Notably, she had the privilege of training under the legendary dance exponent Kalakshethra Ramalinga Sastri Guru.
Her performances are a symphony of immaculate grace and subtle expressions that captivate both the layman and the connoisseur. Neethu Krishnan’s unwavering commitment to preserving the integrity of tradition has garnered admiration from all quarters, highlighting her deep-rooted connection to the classicism of the dance form.
